For all orders containing alcohol, a valid ID is required to be scanned at delivery. If the driver is unable to scan an ID or if the ID is invalid, the order will not be handed over and a refund will be provided.
These proof of age documents are accepted:
- New Zealand or Overseas Passport
- New Zealand Drivers License

- Current — not expired.
MILKRUN partners with a third-party delivery partner to deliver MILKRUN orders containing alcohol. They verify the ID by requiring the delivery driver to scan the ID for the relevant details (document type, date of birth and expiration date). The driver does not have access to the scan of your ID and they did not take a picture of your ID.
Your name, date of birth and expiry date from your ID may be encrypted and retained by our delivery partners for compliance purposes, though the scanned image and any other data collected from the ID will be deleted shortly after your age is verified.
