When placing your order, you can opt-in to "Allow Substitutions" at a product level.
You are able to choose your preference if a product is Out of Stock.
- Best match: Your picker will select a product of similar price and quality.
- Refund if unavailable: No substitute will be provided and you will be refunded.
How to change substitution preferences on the App:
At the final stage of checkout before payment, you may toggle on or off to "Allow Substitutions. When you "Allow substitutions" all products default to "Best match."
Tap on a product to update your preference for that specific item. Choose your preference and tap save.
How to change substitution preferences on the Website:
In your cart, you may toggle on or off to "Allow Substitutions. When you "Allow substitutions" all products default to "Best match."
Click on "Substitute with best match" under the product to update your preference for that specific item. Choose your preference and click save.
A few other things:
- While we try to supply a "Best match", in some cases there may be no suitable substitute, in which case you will be refunded for the item.
- After an order has been placed, we are unable to adjust substitution preferences, change the product supplied or issue a refund instead of the substitute.
- You will never be charged more if a higher value product was substituted.
- You will be refunded the difference is a lower value product was substituted.
